Graphic Design Portfolio Progress

In the past few weeks, I have been expanding on my graphic design skills. I set myself the task of creating a separate branding/ graphic design portfolio, focusing on skills such as colour connotations/ palettes, shape, and type.

Here I designed a made-up skincare brand, animating it ready for social media! I also created a matching business card:

I love to come up with visual interactions in my designs. In this business card I added a pattern to match the logo, which acts as a marker for where a thumb would be placed either side in the handing over of the business card. The brand being skincare pairs with this visual well.

Here is another brand I created and designed a logo/ business card for:

I focused on the colours and shape here. The rounded edges of the heart contrasted against the lines in the waffle design match the typefaces and create a professional yet simple design.

I plan to carry on with my graphic design work and broaden my portfolio as I prepare for my career in the creative industry!
